My name is Amy Hobbs and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Nevada.   I am a fifth generation Nevadan and love the community I live in.  I graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a Bachelors degree in Social Work.  I worked with our senior population which I found extremely fulfilling and something I was proud of and good at.  I raised my family while working with this population and once my children grew up a bit, I decided to take my career further and obtained my Masters Degree in Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University.  This accomplishment led me in other fields and directions.  I gained experience in hospice, hospital administration settings, school settings and now as a therapist.  My experience and developed skills help me to guide my clients through challenges and triumphs.  I am passionate about people, their lives, hopes and dreams.  I am committed to the process and my talents as a listener and helping person.  I love what I do and it shows! 

I enjoy being outdoors, camping and searching for wildflowers to photograph.  I love to travel, learn new skills, and study different cultures.  I play around with genealogy and learning about the lives of my ancestors.  I am passionate about family and value spending time with my husband and children.
